A notorious prison becomes a residential area

The site of a 1970s prison is being redeveloped into a thriving city district, with housing to suit every pocket plus schools, shops, an incubator area for artists and an urban farm, housed in an old cell block. Communication between all vested interests has been a crucial part of the development programme.
