Beurskwartier in Utrecht is being developed into a vibrant, high-density urban district on the west side of Utrecht central station, combining living, working and leisure in a highly accessible location. The area will accommodate at least 2,500 homes, around 5,000 workplaces and a wide range of urban amenities, including hospitality, culture and recreation. 

The project includes a diverse housing programme, with a mix of social, mid-rent and private sector housing, alongside offices and public functions. Buildings vary in height from mid-rise blocks to towers of up to 90 metres, creating a distinctive skyline while maintaining active, human-scale street life through mixed-use plinths.

Beurskwartier is designed as a green and healthy urban environment, featuring two parks, attractive public spaces, and all amenities such as a primary school and healthcare centre within walking distance, representing a key step in expanding Utrecht’s city centre.
