Mares is part of the De Zuid area development along Scheveningen harbour, where around 400 homes are being built alongside commercial units that maintain maritime functions. Developed in cooperation with the municipality of The Hague, the project follows the earlier delivery of the ZuidHaven and ZuidKade buildings along the waterfront.

Mares will contain 98 luxury apartments and penthouses ranging from 90 m² to 350 m², designed with a terraced form inspired by the surrounding dunes. The homes are built to high sustainability standards, using ground-source heat with heat pumps, solar panels for shared areas, and advanced insulation. Residents will benefit from discreet security, a private lobby with a daytime concierge service, underground parking with direct lift access and large individual storage rooms, combining comfort with high-end living by the sea.
